Welcome to the Playhouse!

The Duluth Playhouse will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. We will be back to regular office hours on Tuesday, May 30.

Welcome to the Duluth Playhouse, one of the country’s oldest community theatres (we’re over 100 years old, and still performing strong)! We stage and perform exceptional live theatrical entertainment for all theatre-goers, from musicals to comedies to dramas to original works, it’s enjoyed by the very young to the young at heart. All ages and all tastes will enjoy something performed on our three stages: the Depot main stage, the Children’s Theatre, and the Underground Theatre. We offer a full experience with each show. From the moment you walk into the Playhouse, it will be a night of theatre and #playhousemoments to remember!

There’s a lot to see this Memorial Day weekend!

The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales is loaded with fun for the whole family and performs Saturday and Sunday! Read the review  | Book tickets

Prefer more classic theatre? Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest is also playing in The Underground this weekend through Saturday. Read the review  | Book tickets
