Set in New York’s East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, the plot follows the play’s colorful characters as they love, fight, and celebrate life, while struggling to survive and create their own one moment of glory.
A rock opera for a new generation, like Hair was in the 1960s, Rent reverberates
with joyful energy and an affirmation that the “season of love” is
all there is, with “no day but today.”
