Purchasing your tickets online is the fastest service when booking tickets to the next Playhouse show. When purchasing tickets online, what you see is what our box office sees. All ticket sales and seat availability are in real-time and enjoy never standing in Will Call lines again. When purchasing tickets online or over the phone, request to have tickets sent to you via email (for printing at home) or directly to your mobile device via our Walletini app. Print tickets ahead of time, and skip the line every single time! All ticket sales are final.

Season Tickets

Become a Full Pass or Flex Pass Subscriber in 2017-2018, and enjoy shows all season long. Season tickets for the 2017-2018 season are now on sale!  The new Main Stage season will be split between the Depot and the NorShor Theatre (currently projected to have its premier performance in February 2018).

Single Performances

Please check the Main Stage, Underground Theatre, or Children’s Theatre ticket pages to see if tickets are on sale to the general public. Tickets generally go on sale the day after the previous show closes.

WSS-2018-SeekingSubmissions

The Underground Theatre of Duluth, MN is proud to announce the return of the What She SaidShort Play Festival. This will be an evening of 5-8 short plays and monologues written by women playwrights celebrating women and what they have to say.

We are looking for short plays and monologues that are written by women and those identifying as women. Though there are no conditions set on structure, content, genre; we are seeking works that will be part of a celebration of women and their voices. As this is a festival with multiple plays, the technical elements will be kept simple and this will be a consideration as we are selecting plays.

Plays will be selected based on:

  • Relevance to the spirit of the festival – Celebrating women and what they have to say.
  • Female and female identifying playwrights only!
  • Adherence to ‘The Details’ (found below).
  • Excellence of work.

The Details:

  • There is no fee to submit.
  • A playwright can submit multiple plays but must be submitted separately (in separate emails).
  • Each submission must be no more than 20-pages (excluding title page)int a font no smaller than 11pt.
  • Plays submitted must be unpublished.
  • We will only accept non-musical scripts.
  • Scripts must be submitted electronically to whatshesaidfest@gmail.com.
  • Submissions must be in PDF format.
  • Title page must contain playwright contact information.
  • You will receive a notification that submissions have been received – no other contact will be made unless the script is selected for production.
  • Submission Deadline: February 1, 2018 by 11:59pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 Selected Plays

  • Will receive 3 staged performances from May 24-26, 2018.
  • Will be awarded a $50 prize.
  • 2 tickets to any performance.

Submissions and Correspondence

  • Please allow for up to two weeks for correspondence to any questions.
  • When submitting, make sure to double check you’ve attached your play.
  • If you do not receive an automatically generated response from our email, please double check the email and send it again.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates to the Duluth Playhouse are the perfect gift for every occasion and for absolutely everyone. There’s nothing better than an evening of theatre at the Playhouse! Gift certificates can be purchased online or by calling the Playhouse box office at 218.733.7555. Allow approximately one week for delivery of the gift certificate by mail. Print-at-home gift certificates are available for delivery via e-mail. Print-at-home gift certificates will be emailed within 24 hours.

About Your Duluth Playhouse Gift Certificate

  • You may redeem your Playhouse gift certificate online, over the phone or in person at the Box Office.
  • Gift certificates may be used to purchase tickets to Main Stage, Underground, and Children’s Theatre performances or towards class/camp tuitions with our Education Programs.
  • Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
  • Gift certificates expire at the end of the current 2017-2018 season (August 20, 2018) unless otherwise noted on the Gift Certificate.
  • If your gift certificate does not cover the entire amount of your purchase, a credit card number, check or cash is required to pay for the remainder of the order.
  • If your gift certificate covers more than the amount of your purchase, the balance will remain on the certificate.


Redeeming Your Gift Certificate

Online:
Enter your certificate number at the Order Details screen of your online order; if your gift certificate does not cover the entire amount of your purchase, enter your credit card information for the balance at the Billing Information screen.

By Phone:
Call the Box Office at 218.733.7555 and place your order. When it comes time to pay for your order, give your reservationist the certificate number printed on your gift certificate.

In Person:
Visit the Box Office during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm) and present your gift certificate.

  • 1 ticket to any 1 show of the 2017-18 Main Stage season: $50

Children’s Theatre & Education Program:

  • 2017-18 Children’s Theatre Family Pass (2 adult, 2 youth): $64
  • 2 tickets to any 1 show of the 2017-18 Children’s Theatre season:  $34

The Underground

  • 2 tickets to any 1 Underground show of the 2017-18 season: $40
  • 1 ticket to any 1 Underground show of the 2017-18 season: $20
