Connection is so important and we look forward to seeing you again…

Dear Friends,

We hope you are all safe and healthy. We miss you! There is no such thing as theatre, without you, our beloved audience. We look forward to seeing you as soon as it is safe to do so again.

We are very sad to inform you upcoming productions and events across our three venues have been postponed for the months of May and June.

That does not mean these shows will not be seen on the NorShor, Depot and Underground stages. Though dates will change, we plan to produce all shows currently on hold, as soon as permissible.

Some shows may possibly get to the stage late summer – others will most likely find a slot in the 2020-2021 season beginning in September. All shows have been cast, with directors and designers ready to bring you an exciting experience.
Current Shows Postponed Until Further Notice:
  • NorShor Theatre: Monty Python’s SpamalotThe Mousetrap, and The Who’s Tommy
  • Family Theatre: MatildaA Year with Frog and ToadJames and the Giant Peach JRUrinetown: The Musical, and Summer Camps
  • Underground TheatreMacbeth: Dinner PartyAround the World in 80 Days, What She Said Festival, and The Wild Party
We can’t know when the social gathering restriction will be lifted. But when it is, the Playhouse will be ready to bring shows to the stage, so we may smile, laugh, and cry together once again.
We understand season ticket holders have seats for shows that have been postponed, and many single ticket purchasers as well. There are advertisers and sponsors who are also invested in the Playhouse’s upcoming productions.
In this extremely difficult time, we hope you can help us come back stronger than ever! We need you and deeply appreciate all our donors, patrons, sponsors, advertisers, volunteers, and staff that make up our Playhouse family.
If possible, would you please consider hanging on to your tickets or donating them? (We will send a tax donation letter.) As soon as the Playhouse is up and running, any tickets held will be honored. Thank you for this consideration.

As always, you can stay up-to-date and connected with us on Facebook, in your inboxes, and at www.duluthplayhouse.org.
Take care and be safe. Thank you, for your love and support of the Playhouse.
