Our summer musical, Grease, is just about to enter its third and final week of performances, and we think it’s about time you got to know the crew a little bit more!
Take a little time to get to know Jake Nelson (Doody), Jennie Ross (Frenchie), Kyle McMillan (Roger), and Daylen Moore (Jan) as we ask them five questions each about the show, the rehearsals, and their high school selves.
FIVE QUESTIONS WITH DOODY
Jake Nelson was just recently apart of UMD’s production of Sister Act: The Musical and is returning to the NorShor stage this time to play the goofy T-Bird, Doody.
FIVE QUESTIONS WITH FRENCHIE
Jennie Ross is playing Frenchie in the Playhouse’s production of Grease. Frenchie, the beauty school hopeful, is one of the Pink Ladies hand-jiving her way through senior year. Jennie was recently seen in Ruthless: The Musical at the Underground Theatre.
FIVE QUESTIONS WITH ROGER
Roger is a member of the T-birds and is always looking to make someone laugh. Roger is played by Kyle McMillan, who is marking his 26th performance with the Playhouse.
FIVE QUESTIONS WITH JAN
Jan is an energetic and bubbly Pink Lady. Playing Jan is Daylen Moore, who is making her NorShor debut. Daylen’s next project will be Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch at The Underground this August.
