The perfect show to add to your ‘Watch List’ this weekend is Katori Hall’s The Mountaintop. Here are the Playhouse, we are incredibly proud to present this show virtual staged reading featuring Gabriel Mayfield as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and Daysha Ramsey as Camae in honor and celebration of the great American hero Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr in time for MLK Day (January 18, 2021).
In order to stream this show in the comfort of your own homes, tickets need to be purchased through the platform ShowTix4U. To make it an easier purchasing process, we’ve broken it down step-by-step so those e-tickets can be secured in time for ‘The Mountaintop’s’ streaming January 15-18, 2021.

STEP 1:
First, follow this link so you can easily reach our streaming performance’s landing page. If your screen looks like this (see below), you are in the right place!
STEP 2:
Click on the ‘Rent Video (48 HRS)’ button.
(This is how you will purchase your e-ticket to view the performance once it premieres on January 15, 2021 at 7:00pm. Once the event premieres, you will have 48-hours to view the performance.)
STEP 3:
On the following screen, indicate the number of tickets you’re wanting to purchase by selecting the number of devices you will be viewing the show on (For example, 1 device = 1 ticket).
If one of our artists recommended you to our show, indicate which one by selecting their name in the ‘Select an Artist’ dropdown menu. (Not here because of an artist recommendation? No problem; leave this unanswered.)
STEP 4:
On the next screen, a donation can be added to your ticket order if so desired. Otherwise, leave this space blank.
Select ‘Email – Free’ as the shipping method to receive your access code directly to your inbox once the purchase is complete.
Once the number of tickets has been indicated (and an artist credited), click the ‘Checkout’ button.
STEP 5:
Now, enter your information.
The email indicated is where your access code and receipt will be sent upon completion of the purchase.
If you’d like to join our email list and stay up-to-date on our latest news and programming updates, select ‘Yes’.
STEP 6:
Now it’s time to enter your credit card information. You will need the card number, the expiration date, the CVC, and the billing zip code of your card.
Tickets are $10 each.
Once all the information has been entered, click the ‘Pay With Card’ button.
NOTE: On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see an additional charge of $2.94 to your order. This is a ShowTix4U fee that is applied to all tickets being purchased.
STEP 7:
Congratulations! You have successfully purchased your ticket(s) to stream Katori Hall’s The Mountaintop, premiering on January 15, 2021 at 7:00pm CST.
Upon completion of purchase, you will be brought to a purchase confirmation that looks something like this.
From here, you can either exit the screen or click on the ‘Watch Stream’ button. If you click on the ‘Watch Stream’ button, you will be taken to the following screen:
Here is where you will enter your access code, which can be found inside your emailed purchase receipt.
The show doesn’t begin streaming until 7:00pm CST the evening of January 15 and is available for streaming through January 18. With your ticket purchase, you can view our performance on-demand for 48-hours.
