Duluth Playhouse believes that theatre is for everyone, so we created our Community Preview Nights to build relationships with diverse community groups across the Northland. We are bringing the community together on and off the stage by investing in local groups and offering the clients they serve greater access to our productions.
Community Preview Nights allow community-serving organizations and groups to experience a Duluth Playhouse show and remove financial barriers for their staff or clients who otherwise might be unable to attend. We offer a rotation of invited guests to our free Community Preview Night Performance, which is always the Wednesday before Opening Night.
To get on the rotating guest list, please email boxoffice@duluthplayhouse.org with the following information:
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You will be emailed when it is your turn in the rotation to attend the complimentary performance. You will be emailed tickets to the performance if you confirm that the date works for your group. Our Community Preview Night Performances at the NorShor are assigned seating with tickets.
Your guests must bring the tickets to the event to gain entry. Entry is through the Box Office access to the theatre (not the Main Entrance under the marquee). The theatre doors will be open for guests at 7:00 p.m. for seating.
TO RECEIVE THE TICKETS:
Once you are invited and confirm the date works for your group, you will receive an email with the tickets. If you have printer access, you can print the tickets from that email or stop by the NorShor Box Office (211 E. Superior St.) during business hours (Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.), and we can print the confirmed tickets for you.
HOW LONG WILL I WAIT TO SEE A SHOW?
There is a lot of interest in our free Community Preview Night Performances. We do our best to rotate through groups to get everyone in as quickly as possible. Our Community Preview Nights Performances have been consistently filling up and are offered each season. Thank you for your patience.
