NorShor Studios
Welcome to the NorShor Studios! Three rehearsal studios are located on the 3rd floor of the NorShor Theatre, accessible via an elevator. These versatile spaces serve as classrooms for the School of Performing Arts and rehearsal spaces for Duluth Playhouse productions. They also offer flexible rental options for a variety of events and activities.
The Lab
Welcome to The Lab! This versatile studio and performance serves as a space for rehearsals, classes, and intimate performances to flourish. It was created in 2023 with the aim of providing a venue that serves artists with a place to grow, explore, and collaborate through education and artistic exploration. The Lab also serves as a platform for creative conversations, ultimately advancing the performing arts in our community.
The Annex
Welcome to The Annex! Formerly known as The Encounter, this historic building has undergone a transformation to help support Duluth Playhouse’s continually expanding programming. Just one block up from the NorShor Theatre, The Annex is located at 201 E. 1st St.
